Dear hiring team,
I understand that the central requirement for this Engineering Manager role is building an engineering team that can make sound technical decisions, deliver predictably, grow people, and operate what it ships. I am motivated by management work that increases the team’s decision quality and ownership rather than making every decision depend on the manager.
I completed this work during a supervised Engineering Leadership Intern placement. Under supervision, I reviewed design proposals and incident follow-ups with engineers, assigned mentoring through real code reviews, and adjusted delivery scope when staffing and operational load conflicted.
Within that same supervised placement, I limit my claim to the assigned work. I analyzed recurring delivery interruptions and prepared a weekly risk summary for the project lead. I gave the project lead a consistent view of active risks before weekly planning.
