Dear hiring team,

I understand that the central requirement for this Scrum Master role is helping a delivery team plan transparently, surface blockers, improve flow, inspect working agreements, and adapt without masking problems. I want to facilitate teams in finding and owning their own improvements rather than making process compliance the goal.

I completed this work as Junior Scrum Master with senior review. With a senior colleague reviewing the change, I facilitated Scrum sprint planning using Jira capacity, dependencies, and a clear sprint goal. I coached the team to split unfinished work into testable increments rather than rolling every ticket forward.

Within that same senior-reviewed scope, I limit my claim to the assigned work. Within the assigned scope, I used cycle-time distributions and blocked-ticket history to prepare retrospectives, agreed a smaller work-in-progress limit, and checked whether the next sprint actually reduced waiting time.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the decisions and delivery I owned, and how I could apply that experience in this role.

Sincerely,

J. Lee
