Affiliate Program Terms of Service

1. Eligibility, application, and acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into an agreement, and provide complete and accurate application, tax, and payout information. If you apply for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We may approve, reject, request additional information, or place conditions on participation at our discretion. Your participation begins only after approval and acceptance of these Terms in the partner portal or another written channel.

2. Independent relationship

You participate as an independent contractor. These Terms do not create employment, agency, franchise, joint venture, fiduciary, or exclusive relationships. You may not bind refresh.cv, make commitments on our behalf, or present yourself as an employee or authorized representative.

3. Permitted promotion and disclosure

You may promote refresh.cv through websites, original editorial content, video, social media, newsletters sent to a lawfully obtained and consented audience, educational materials, communities, and other channels disclosed in your application or later approved by us.

Your content must be accurate, current, original, and not misleading. You must clearly disclose the affiliate relationship in a prominent manner whenever required by law, regulation, or platform policy. You are responsible for complying with advertising, endorsement, privacy, email, consumer protection, and other laws that apply to your activity.

4. Prohibited activities

The following activities are prohibited unless we give specific prior written approval:

• Self-referrals, referrals of an entity you control, duplicate or fabricated accounts, collusion, or transactions made primarily to generate commission.
• Cookie stuffing, forced clicks or redirects, hidden frames, adware, spyware, browser extensions, automated traffic, click injection, or other methods that create attribution without a genuine user choice.
• Bidding on refresh.cv, Refresh, misspellings, or confusingly similar brand terms in paid search; using those terms in domains, social handles, app names, or ads that imply official status.
• Coupon, deal, cashback, loyalty, incentive, lead-broker, sub-affiliate, rebroadcast, or rebrokered traffic.
• Unsolicited email, SMS, direct messages, spam, purchased contact lists, or promotion that violates platform rules.
• False product claims, fabricated reviews, impersonation, deceptive comparisons, fake scarcity, unauthorized discounts, or statements that guarantee employment, interviews, or specific results.
• Promotion on illegal, infringing, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise brand-unsafe content or services.

5. Referral attribution

A qualifying referral generally requires a genuine visitor to follow a valid tracked partner link, create a new refresh.cv account within the attribution window shown in the partner offer, and complete an eligible purchase. Existing users or customers, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, untracked referrals, and referrals outside the applicable window do not qualify unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Attribution is recorded using refresh.cv systems and Tolt. Attribution models and windows may vary by partner offer. Our records and Tolt records control unless you provide clear evidence of a material tracking error. We do not guarantee tracking where cookies or similar technologies are rejected, deleted, blocked, or unavailable.

6. Commissionable revenue, discounts, and renewals

Unless a different rate is shown in your partner offer or agreed in writing, commission is 30% of the eligible customer charge after discounts and before sales tax. Sales tax, VAT, similar taxes, and amounts not designated as eligible in the partner offer do not generate commission.

A fully discounted transaction with a $0 net amount is recorded as $0 and produces $0 commission. For recurring products, each eligible renewal is evaluated using the actual net transaction amount and the commission duration in your partner offer. Discounts that apply only to certain billing periods affect only those periods.

7. Refunds, chargebacks, and reversals

Any refund associated with a referred transaction—including a partial refund—cancels the entire commission for that transaction. We do not prorate affiliate commission for a partially refunded transaction. Chargebacks, payment reversals, fraudulent payments, cancellations before settlement, and duplicate transactions may also be reversed or rejected.

If a reversed commission has already been paid, we may deduct it from future payouts or require repayment where a future offset is not reasonably available.

8. Commission review and approval

Commissions may remain pending during the approval period shown in your partner offer. We may review referrals and transactions for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, self-referrals, duplicate attribution, prohibited promotion, technical errors, and compliance with these Terms.

We may reject, cancel, or hold commissions supported by a reasonable compliance, fraud, payment, or tracking concern. We will use reasonable efforts to investigate a timely written dispute and may request supporting evidence from you.

9. Payouts and taxes

Approved commissions are paid according to the payout schedule, threshold, currency, and supported payout methods shown in Tolt or your written partner offer. Payout timing may depend on completed identity, tax, and payment verification and on the accuracy of your payout information.

You are responsible for taxes, reporting, bank or intermediary fees, currency conversion, and other obligations arising from affiliate earnings. We may request tax documentation or withhold amounts when required by law. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information or third-party payment providers.

10. Brand assets and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license during your participation to use approved refresh.cv names, logos, links, and campaign materials solely to promote refresh.cv under these Terms. You may not alter brand assets, register confusingly similar rights, imply endorsement, or use our materials outside the program without written permission.

You retain ownership of your original content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to reproduce and share public promotional content that features refresh.cv for program administration and partner promotion, with attribution where reasonably practical. You may withdraw this permission for future use by contacting us.

11. Privacy, security, and confidential information

You must handle personal data lawfully and securely and collect only what you are authorized to collect. You may not request refresh.cv passwords, private resume data, payment credentials, or other sensitive account information. Referral and customer data available through Tolt may be used only to operate and evaluate the affiliate relationship.

Non-public product, customer, financial, security, program, and performance information disclosed by us is confidential. You must protect it with reasonable care and use it only for the program, except where disclosure is required by law.

12. Suspension and termination

Either party may end participation at any time. We may suspend tracking, links, portal access, commissions, or payouts while investigating suspected violations. We may terminate immediately for fraud, prohibited promotion, material misrepresentation, legal or security risk, brand harm, or repeated non-compliance.

After termination, you must stop using partner links and refresh.cv brand assets. Legitimately approved commissions earned before termination remain payable under the payout terms, except amounts connected to fraud, prohibited conduct, refunds, chargebacks, or another valid reversal. Referrals or transactions after termination do not qualify unless we agree otherwise in writing.

13. Disclaimers, indemnity, and limitation of liability

The program, partner portal, tracking, links, and materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee traffic, conversion, earnings, uninterrupted tracking, service availability, or any employment outcome for referred users.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages or lost profits arising from the program. Our aggregate liability relating to the program will not exceed commissions paid or payable to you during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You will indemnify and hold refresh.cv harmless from third-party claims, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from your promotional content, violation of law or platform rules, infringement, misuse of personal data, or breach of these Terms.

14. Changes, governing law, and general terms

We may update these Terms or a partner offer to reflect program, product, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated through the partner portal, email, or another reasonable channel before they take effect where practicable. Continuing to participate after the effective date means you accept the updated terms; otherwise, you may terminate participation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction over our principal place of business will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, sale, or transfer of the program or business.
